Gasoline is available in different octane varieties. People generally look at these various octanes as representing comparisons in the quality of the gas. There is some truth to that under certain circumstances. But it is not as simple as saying a higher octane gasoline with make your car run better, faster or more efficiently. When you get down to it, most workin' folks' daily rides are perfectly happy and healthy using regular or standard grade gasoline. Consult your automobile owner's manual to see what the manufacturer recommends as the minimum octane for your vehicle. That's really all it needs. Buying gas of a higher octane is literally burning money for no good reason.
